BIBPRESENTS… The Story

bibPRESENTS (formerly Black in Britain) is a Black British-led platform dedicated to celebrating and amplifying voices and stories that deserve to be shared. What began as a xine has evolved into a vibrant space that showcases Black history, talent, and culture in the UK, while connecting them to broader audiences.

Driven by a passion for connecting Black communities to the richness of their heritage, I approach this platform with a personal commitment, ensuring that events, stories, and achievements—often overlooked or short-lived—are given the recognition they deserve. I aim to create inclusive environments where individuals from diverse backgrounds can share their stories, showcase their talents, and engage with a like-minded community.

The mission is to honor cultural heritage, foster meaningful connections, and ignite conversations that inspire positive change.

BIBPRESENTS… Tear Sheets

Take a look at some of the incredible events I've had the honor of hosting, been apart of & where I’ve been featured.

BIOSCOPE CLUB (the film club)
One of my most popular events, come for a laid-back afternoon filled with sweet treats and great vibes. Whether it's a movie or a football game, my screenings offer a cozy, inclusive space to connect, unwind, and enjoy the experience together. It’s more than just a show—it’s a chance to feel at home and share the excitement with a supportive community.

GURLS TALK: MEET THECOMMUNITY
For BRICKS’ Rise Together Issue, they opened their platform to the Gurls Talk audience to share their understandings of why community is so important to them. I was featured.

Apart of SIXTEEN x S2AU
My photo-series, Hair (2019-) was on at Photofusion in a exhibition curated by Sorry 2 Annoy U Collective from 7th February, 2020 to 19th March, 2020. The series looks at the beauty of black hair. The coils, the curls, the kink. The things western beauty made us hate.
